Your role
As an Accountant supporting OBLIQ and AR Media Solutions, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting our day-to-day accounting operations. You will work directly with the founders to provide clear financial information and keep accounting processes organised and reliable.
You will be responsible for
- Maintaining bookkeeping records and ensuring transactions are recorded accurately.
- Managing customer invoices, supplier invoices, and payment reconciliation.
- Monitoring receivables, payables, and outstanding payments.
- Reconciling bank accounts and investigating discrepancies.
- Preparing financial summaries and supporting period-end closing activities.
- Organising documentation for tax filings and coordinating with external advisers.
- Improving accounting processes and the quality of financial records.
What you bring
- Relevant education or professional qualifications in accounting or finance.
- Practical experience in bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Familiarity with Swiss accounting requirements and VAT processes.
- Confidence using accounting software and spreadsheets.
- Accuracy, discretion, and a structured approach to deadlines.
- The ability to explain financial information clearly and communicate in English.
- Experience with Bexio, international transactions, or service-based businesses is an advantage.
