Alessandro Romanelli
Co-Founder — Software Engineer
Senior engineer with experience across defence, aerospace, healthcare, and banking. Builds systems that operate under pressure and stay maintainable long after launch.
A small studio that treats software as a craft. Senior people, direct conversations, and products built to be kept.
Obliq was founded on a single premise: most software agencies ship fast and fix later. We do the opposite. Every system we build is designed as load-bearing structure, ready to carry the weight of the business that stands on it.
We work with founders and product teams who have outgrown templates. They come to us when the architecture matters as much as the interface, and a rebuild in eighteen months is not an acceptable outcome.
Our name is deliberate. Obliq: oblique, angled, non-direct. We come at problems from the side, because the market’s defaults are the reason so much software gets thrown away.
Everything we build, we build ourselves. No offshore handoffs, no code we haven’t read.

A deliberately small team. You talk to the people writing the code, and nobody bills you to learn on the job.

Co-Founder — Renewables Engineer
Renewables engineer with more than ten years in the Polish and Swiss solar industries, from farm operations to asset data and energy analytics. She is the domain authority behind our energy platforms: software built on her numbers can be trusted.
Safety-critical software for regulated environments. We understand DO-178, qualification testing, and what it means to build software lives depend on.
Clinical platforms and health data infrastructure. HIPAA-aware, HL7-compatible, and built so clinicians can trust what is on screen.
Transaction engines, compliance workflows, and real-time data pipelines. Every action logged, every state recoverable.
Wind, solar, and grid-scale data. Energy analytics, asset monitoring, and forecasting platforms built by engineers who have worked inside the sector.
These four principles govern every decision here, from product architecture to email copy. They are constraints we build against, and we like it that way.
Everything we build is whole. No half-measures, no “we’ll fix it in v2”. Each product ships as one complete, integrated system.
We design for longevity. In a market of disposable tools, we build load-bearing walls: software other things can safely stand on.
We reject the cult of velocity. Every feature and every line of code is placed like a mason sets stone. Speed is a byproduct of clarity, not a substitute for it.
We don’t attack problems head-on. We approach at an angle, and the name says as much. The change we care about is architectural, not theatrical.
We are occasionally looking for senior engineers and designers who build things right. No recruiters. Send work, not a CV.
